She whispered "I love you" as she let go.

Tore my heart with the feelings she said she couldn't show...

Love me or hate me, 'cuz i've fallen for what i've been longing for & i want to know if it's meant to be.

I didn't understand why she walked away on that perfect night,

i've seen her cry when i walk on by & shes on the arm of her demon, her perfect stranger, & i know it's not right.

Love me or hate me, 'cuz i've fallen for what 've been longing for & i want to know if it's meant to be. Why don't you care enough to let me free you, why don't you let me through?

Why does love have to be so selfish & cause me so much pain with just three simple words...

but i'd give eternity to hear her say them once more, like she did for the first time standing at my door

"I love you" was what started it and ended it but i guess its never quite through...

So love me or hate me, 'cuz i've fallen for what i've been longing for & i want to know if its meant to be. I close my eyes and i remember you, I can remember your kiss even in my darkest hour...& its with my love that i've given you that power
