Beautfully Painfull

Beauty in a rose can only be seen,

Pain from its thorns can only be felt,

what would i get if i have both?

I would get life...

Beauty in life only comes to those who see

even if it means past a tragedy,

Pain in life can be felt by everyone everywhere

even with those we think that cant compare

Beauty in life can only be seen by those who open their eyes

by those who stand against compromise

Pain in life can only be felt if you open your heart

but you cant be heartless because then you fall apart

Beauty has to be seen,

Pain has to be felt,

what do you get when you have both?

something beautifully painfull called life.

A very true statement ... wisdom beyond wisdom in the simplest of messages... can't have one without the other.. life is truly just that way... but you need to take the time to find the beauty and not focus on the pains of the thorns.. great writing.. keep it going!!! thank you for sharing!!!
