Your WarmthA Poem by JeanI just wrote this in an attempt to move on from the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on, and went on my first ever date with, hope somebody enjoys.
Your warmth must act beyond you when it insists upon my intrigue.
Long removed from your presence, I linger in silence and solitude Pondering and pacing upon it to this second. My solemn soul remains just so As I ruminate on your knowledge and belief Of the effect you had on me, And how you walk an unmatched, magical mystique. How your divine gaze lied upon me as would A replica in breed of my dearest childhood dog. A most innocent tremble in the mistake for an existing love, But nothing more than a stranger in reality. How the bumps and furrows and the rich russet brown Run back and forth and leap and fall, All fitting into place so perfectly together To form the supple skeleton and smooth skin upon your face. How your ravenous hair, Both in complexion and coercion, Elegantly descends into this brave, Unkempt waterfall atop your soft shoulders. How all of these physical details collide and explode as one, Only to marvel at the sheer power Of this interwoven colour That is your atmosphere. A deep dark, pitch purple. An earthy and elegant, but glorious green. A diamond blue as the ocean, for the mesmerizing azure Exists as only an allure to the true clarity of the water and glistening gem. You are an indescribable culmination of what beauty seeks to be. A light no colour can replicate, And a right no man can articulate. Sincerely, The Man Who Tried To
