You Can't Feel My PainA Poem by Norma J. JesseeLyrics To my son.
I sit here and talk to you, While tears run down my face, You seem to think it's just a game. You can see my tears, You can hear my words, But you can't feel my pain.
Chorus:
For the pain I have inside of me, Is something you can't feel, You might think it's make believe, But my tears are for real. I feel so lost and all alone, As my tears fall like rain, And though you think you understand, You just can't feel my pain.
A pictures worth a thousand words, A penny for your thoughts, How I wish that I could explain. You can taste the salt, That's locked up in my tears, Oh, but you can't feel my pain. © 2008 Norma J. JesseeAuthor's Note
