To And Fro

To And Fro

A Poem by Norma J. Jessee
"

Just window watching

"

Hurrying,Scurring,

To and Fro.

From my window I watch,

People come and go.

Trucks and Cars,

And Motorbikes.

People going to the movies,

People going on hikes.

Black cars, Green cars,

Yellow cars too,

I don't know who they are,

But I bet one is you.

I love to people watch and this is a poem about just that. It also incorporates a little of something else too, like maybe hoping that one of those cars belongs to a special someone. I used to see red GMC's everywhere when I was 15 and hoped for it to be my ex boyfriend who was my first love. This poem reminds me of that. Lovely write!

It was to fun to read..yes..and also if one looks closely,in lots of way it has more than seems to the eyes. For me the last line brings out something of a connectivity between all and how small the world can be if we chose to let down our guards and open our hearts forging new bonds.

this is capturing and colorful, blissful, fun to read, light hearted, artistic in the
way you express the quality of vision, the wondeful form captures your thoughts
well, norma, your words have the ability to draw the reader to ponder, and that
in itself is touching, as well as your ability to render creativeness, captivating, mike

This is something that I could see Dr Seuss writing...with the crazy cars and bikes being drawn in...Im glad I read this one. You put a big smile on my face here.

Oh, this is fun. It has a Seussical rhythm and the lovely line at the end: But I bet one is you, draws us in and makes us part of the game.

People watching, an interesting hobby, subconciously, maybe you are looking for someone out of the past. I use to do that. this is really a cute little poem.
