The MoonA Poem by Norma J. JesseeThat big old moon up in the sky, Last night at me he winked his eye, His face was filled with so much glee; I don't think he meant for me to see.
He smiled a funny little grin, There was a dimple in his chin, He kissed me with his golden beam; And spun for me a happy dream.
He sprinkled stardust in my hair, The scent of flowers filled the air, Then he said good-night to me; And shone above for all to see.
