The Letter Drawer

The Letter Drawer

A Poem by Norma J. Jessee

A drawer full of letters,

A drawer full of dreams,

A drawer full of hopes;

A drawer full of screams.

They rage, beg and plead,

They laugh, frown and cry,

Silently in the drawer;

They wage a war and die.

Author's Note

Norma J. Jessee
We recieve happy letters, sad letters, angry letters etc: We read them, react to them and then
put them in a drawer where they are forgotten, unless we take discover them anew one day and relive
them all over again.

It flows alright and it feels unfinished. It just didn't do it for me emotionally, either. structure is decent though and word choice was ok.
