I watch you sometimes

when you don't know

I'm looking.

I love to see you

absorbed in doing

something

you really love.

As I watch you

concentrating on

your work,

your favorite hobby,

or any number of a

hundred different

things.

The feelings

of love and pride

well up inside me.

I can't help

but be proud

of you.

Proud that I

have a husband

who does so many

things, so well.

I'm so happy,

so proud

that you love me,

that you're mine.

So lucky

I've been trying to get back to your work, and I'm very glad I have!
When there is a special occasion in my household, I pore over the greeting cards and usually walk away disgusted that I can never find one that says anything near what I feel.
It's probably because it's my feelings, not some card-writer.
This is so wonderful and heartfelt! I guess being a husband myself, I have a great understanding of how yours felt when he read this. This is strictly beautiful and I'm so glad I read it.
