Never Ending Dream

Never Ending Dream

A Poem by Norma J. Jessee

I've kissed your lips a thousand times or more,

I've held you in my arms all night long,

I've missed you each time I wake at dawning;

I've heard you in the words of every song.

I've heard you sing with the birds of spring,

I've seen you walking at the break of day,

I've felt your tender touch on  my body;

And longed to see the secret place you stay.

Soon my lonely waiting will be over,

My dreams will be brought to light,

My love for you burns deep within me;

You're my never ending dream both day and night.

very sweet, very lyrical. i liked how you didn't force any rhymes into the piece, and just let the individual lines speak for themselves. made me want to ::sigh::

my never ending dream both day and night" your rhyming sets the readers heart adrift in pillowy
yearning, and the beauty reflects in form, wording, imagery, as well as all around thought focused
creating feelings of sootjhing warmth in light of ascention, the flow itself drifts straight to the
readers soul, incredibly touching aspiration, norma, this is a masterfully crafted work of insight.

I like this, the yearning is clearly defined. Both the visual comparisons and the emotions come through nicely. Good work.
