Falling For Him

I can't describe my feelings

And though not unfamiliar

They are such that I've felt

Only once before

Most people name this "love"

Though I do not think

That's what this is

For I lust for his soul and his mind

As much as I do his body

I have yet to fall in love with him

...But indeed I am in the process of doing so

For he occupies my thoughts

First thing in the morning and last at night

And every waking moment in between

Unfortunately for me

I am more of a ladies woman

Than I am a man's

And I fear my lack of expertise

Is bound to drive him away

I cannot pretend to be what I am not

But at the thought of losing him

I ache

All over

I have grown accustomed

To the warmth of his hand

As i bends perfectly around mine

His scent is one I find myself craving

Far, far too often

In my bed I realize

That I miss him

Whenever he is not here beside me

That when he touches me 

I cannot function

He, he is electrifying
