Serial Killer/Heart Breaker

Serial Killer/Heart Breaker

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

~~~
"
I wonder if it was wrong.
It was always my fault
Anyway
I reached in and clutched
Your heart
With my grubby fingers
I must ave torn
It out
Rougher than I'd meant to
Because it's clear you died.
I suppose I'm far more savage than I'd imagined.
Is still your grave too shallow?
You continue to dig your way out.
Maybe that's why I know
In my hole ridden heart
That perhaps it's been wrong
Since it stopped.
