Djinni

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

~~~
"
Genie, for my first wish,
I ask that you find the happiness you're seeking,
For wherever you've gone,
You went there hurting.
Genie, for my second wish,
I ask that you leave your lamp in our hands.
I promise that we'll treasure it
And keep the magic for the future generations.
Genie, my final wish is hard for me to say,
I'm letting you go because you must leave,
So genie, on behalf of all of us, we set you free.
