The Greatest Good

The Greatest Good

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

~~~
"
It’s the smell of a dewy morning,
A painted sky just beyond the fog
    It’s the sound of a strong silence
It’s the fresh air in your frantic city lungs.
It’s the crisp tang of excitement
To see the new morn through,
It’s the pang of a united heart beating
In unison with its community
Alike in curiosity and bound for service.
Unabashéd and unconfined,
Free to feel freedom’s hand; that which is held
In the bright eyes of an excited family,
Looking with renewed hope on that which we have for them made.
Lyrical muses ring out in worship,
A cacophony of empowered voices
That hail to the clear constellations in the clouds above,
Who’s light rains down on our humble communion,
For we are the blood of the covenant, one for the cause.
I wrote this for a service project that asked me to give them something. I hope you enjoy it just as much as they did. :)
This picks up in pace...
as one goes about the read...
a bit small of a font...
can you please enlarge it...
I had to magnify...hehehe
yet the focus and brevity of it speaks out...
