Manic

Manic

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

~~~
"
Some eyes see enlightenment,
Some see blind,
Others see soullessly, ignorant
Like a child is vulnerable.
My eyes though, rarer still
See colorlessly save
The red of blood that is so staining my mind
That to me no longer may another exist.
My fists, furiously clenched
Caution those who still succumb to fear,
My hands covered in a corpses ink,
Splattering these words on this page.
The suppressors don't know my secret,
(That which is hidden in these padded walls
Between which I lay each night and each day,)
Because there are more victims there,
Somewhat visible between the
Curls of the corner
And just to keep their bodies mine own,
Last victim I shall be.
I liked how you patterns the first 4 stanzas...
and then develop a different type of scene...
with the rest of this work...
you give "Manic" quite a display in words...
