DisassemblyA Poem by Riley Bray~~~I will not prod it or be swayed, For in the pathways of my mind I endorse my seething rage, with proud passion As green envy rears it's head while I continue onward I live on a thin wire, anger threatening the mundane from Beneath the surface of my skin As hatred drives my attitude In a loud world without identity, Built on vials of seductive desire. Strength tongues my flames with ecstasy, My papery walls tearing at the kiss of a wrecking ball -- To be trapped inside and forced to fail, My skin prickling without remorse, -- As unspoken thoughts are birthed from it's mothers mind To watch society collapse, For we shall begin to dissolve into our own anguish, And we will unravel, and unwind Into our precious, man-made time.
