When I die YoungA Poem by Riley BrayTake me with you, Amaterasu, I'll burn in the paws of the okami fire god.
Let me die young
Up in smoke And down in flame I spit at this reality For what fun is there In growing old With those you've never met? Let me die young Up in smoke And down in flame You may worship this brutality With guns and fists and swears But people are cold So what's the point in dragging out what will inevitably end? Let me die young Up in smoke And down in flame And worst of all... Absolutely in love, And incredibly sane.
