Mosaic of Mind

Mosaic of Mind

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

Imagine a thousand.

"
Grasp my hand as we engage in this decline into ecstasy
So we may forget ourselves together.

Steal a furtive glance in my direction
Before we are gone and lost.

Watch the fire spark deep inside my eyes
As the flame of madness comes to take us.

See it turn me into a gruesome monster
With a disgusting grin glued on my face.

And fade into the warped illusion
Of a "good day."

Grasp my soul as we embark on this journey to society
So gone may be our sad sobriety.
