Duly Noted

Duly Noted

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

Count on it.

"
They need something they can hold onto,
But there's little I can provide
In this chaotic disorganized mess
Of runaway me...

They need something they can hope for,
But I remain senseless
In this fucked up happy house
Filled with anger and agony.

They need something of a facade to love,
But it is just a character
In this rotting hell of a world
Full of aggressive b******s.

Like them,
I'm not better than that
So if you want to play with one hell of a lie,
Then consider it duly noted.

I'd be willing to play faces with a lie if it had the chance to cheer me up . . .

Wouldn't we all? :/
I enjoyed that. A lot. It sounded like I was talking to someone with a beautiful way of speaking.
The hope, the inability to give it. The hard, cold, hateful view of the world... it was wonderfully written.
Great poem!
Sylvia.
