Grave Of FirefliesA Poem by Riley BrayThe obvious is calling...
Nonsense is calling
As night begins falling Slipping and drowning With silence resounding. How can I swallow These people while hollow, With pride in their eyes And mindless fireflies. But somewhere in mourning Are those souls that're burning With milky white scarring The hearts fully marred. As I'm sitting here watching The hopes that are dropping I lose all my patience With this graveyard called life.
