Honest Assisstance

Honest Assisstance

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

Guidance is needed by everyone at some point. We begin receiving it and as we age we are the ones to dish it out.

"
Oh tell me will o the wisps,
What is your greatest secret?
Whisper in my ear,
Leave it for the world to interpret.
Guide us far in this strange new land,
And lend me the time to understand.
Sins and sinners can be forgiven,
Some can change to saints,
But I'm afraid that misery
Will always be the force controlling me.
Behind the veil that covers my eyes,
The same images do not seem to appear.
Instead I see a horrid, bloody massacre.
So honestly, will o the wisps,
I think I need assistance.
