False Freedom

False Freedom

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

Even in death there is no one to protect you.

"
Alarmingly slow,
The gateway shall open,
Revealing the Utopia behind it.
One false step,
And surely this dream will come to an end,
For the forsaken are forbidden.
Drip. Drip.
Drop.

I'm finally melting into the death I deserve.

death....awaits us all. i am no stranger to death and thus do not fear it....we all die a little every day. most fear dying all at once and with finality. as for me , give me la petit morte. very clever and engaging little write.

welcome
you seem to be all for death by ice... lol i like this. it's slow and steady, and it sounds really cool when i say it out loud in a deep voice. the ending is a powerful statement that leaves a lot of questions- why do you deserve the death? what did you do? an excellent write dear.
