VigilanteA Poem by Riley BrayWho wants to be the hero when the hero never wins?
Who wants to be the hero
When the hero never wins? It's the villainous that benefit And they're the ones that sin.
Speak now if you intend to rock forth My friend Scream now, loud, daring and brave 'Cause when we are against the end You'll wish you'd taken the chance.
But who wants to be the hero When the hero never wins? It's the villainous that benefit And they're the ones that sin.
Stand up if you're going to fight for your cause My foe Stand tall, proud, and grinding your jaw 'Cause when you face off against us Be prepared to be a disgrace.
But who wants to be the hero When the hero never wins? Its the villainous that benefit And they're the ones that sin.
We might as well throw the towel in We all know how this will be turning out There's still time to disappear into this mist As long as we act now. 'Cause who wants to be the hero When the hero never wins? Its the villainous that benefit And they're the ones that sin.
