Journal Entry 2-----That Little Heart Skip

So erratic and all aflutter out of nowhere...

You know that feeling when you go somewhere that you've had a bad experience before, and you just can't stop the incessant banging of your heart? Yeah, that would be me today. Everyone has 'those days' that just don't go their way, its inevitable, but today I went from having a perfectly fine morning into, well, a basic "whats going on?" You see, my beloved ferret of six years, Koda, passed away this last Sunday, so needless to say I'm a little apprehensive of veterinarians...Yet for some reason the universe decided it wanted to laugh a little harder at me, and so I end up needing to take all five of my other animals to the emergency room. That 'little heart skip' was more like a full-blown Irish dance. Honestly, I can NOT be the only one! Share your stories with me!

Anxiety can be horrible. I'm not sure that I have felt this way in a place where I had a bad experience, but I do, from time to time have anxiety and panic attacks which throw me for a loop. They often come out of nowhere. Sorry, to hear that your pets are doing poorly. Hope they end up being o.k.
