The Road To Forgiveness

The Road To Forgiveness

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

We ought to know by now.

"
The road to forgiveness is a long one
Hues of
Emotion bouncing of my person.

Rumbling deep inside of me,
Obligations forcing my hand
And making me give in so that you
Don't get stuck in a bad place by me.

Tortured temporarily by the
Obstinacy of my conscious.

Forgiveness is difficult,
Or at least it is for me. And the
Reality is that
Giving in to what is right
Is always supposed to come first. But the
Vicious people inhabiting this planet tend to
Evade the truth.
Nevertheless, the road to forgiveness is no easy feat, taking no
Exceptions for anyone.
So suffice to
Say, the road to forgiveness is a long one.
