Flower

Originally a poem inside my other poem A Blank. Wanted to let this stand on it's own as I like it.

I wanted to write about a flower

Using photosynthesis to get its power

You are so small, but so beautiful

Flowers are always so wonderful

Watching you sway as the wind blows

A freeing sensation, I will never know

What do you think? Want to be tall?

Or are you just at peace with it all?

Oh flower I wish you could speak

Help me find what I often seek

To move and flow so carefree

A peace with life, I’d love for me

A flower so small and sweet

A treasure that sits at my feet.
