What will we do without Wilderness?

What will we do without Wilderness?

Just some scribbled rambling thoughts as a Pacific Northwest storm rolls into the Great Basin.

What will we do without Wilderness?

By Jaromy D. Jessop

What will we do without Wilderness?
When nature has lost her perfect song
Where solitude no longer found
With no one else for miles around
My heart responds with somber tone
Am I in feeling all alone?
I look with hope in Mountain sky
That those who wander after I
Will somehow as they view this land
Wake up from slumber .......understand,
That if we fail to win this fight
So numbered will be starry nights
Come now neighbor pledge with me
That always we good stewards be
And pass on to posterity
The blessings of the Wilderness

An excellent statement. How terrible ti would be never to have any wilderness to look on again.

Even to me that would be so, and I live in the middle of a city.
