First Love

First Love

A Poem by Just_Joshing
"

I found this on my computer the other day whilst rummaging around my stuff! I wrote it back in grade 8, so it's not very refined, but it brings back lots of memories! Enjoy!

"

I felt a strange and foreign feeling that morning,

A feeling in my chest, flapping wildly like a dove.

I turned and looked across the room, and I fell without a warning.

I saw your serene face that day, and instantly fell in love.

I stumbled and staggered through the dark of hesitation,

Tripped and fell over the many stalagmites of well found fear.

Cursed in silence my lack of needed illumination,

And wound up trapped, bound and stuck right here.

Chill on the critical reviews for this one, I wrote it in grade 8, so it's not going to be the best piece of work!
