Such Reminds Me of You

Sometimes the universe has a way of showing people who has the power. However, if your not physically together, subtle reminders will keep any two people together.

Sweet smell of roses,

   Vibrant color of a thistle.

A real love, beyond face value,

   anything but superficial.

A sweet breeze in my hair,

   soft kisses on my head, so debonair.

A sly comment, a witty comeback

   Days gone, none to regret;

nothing to take back.

   Ruby red lips, skin clear as milk.

Fitzgerald on a rainy day,

   hair as smooth as silk.

Glass of red and a sky so fine,

   my struggle is yours and yours is mine.

Sand to feet keep me grounded when I fall,

   Starry nightfall, think of you and I stand tall.

A subtle touch, a gentle kiss;

   too much to take, more than enough to miss.

Hair long, curly too;

   Eyes pierce, a sharp blue hue.

Rolling glenn, deep green hill;

   Mountain peak with a snow top fill.

Ocean tides ebb & flow,

   Northern Lights and its green glow.

What hearts have owned and love;

   shall not die, or drift from.
