Full Moon

Full Moon

A Poem by Jayden Ireton

I look around the room full of people
To me in my own world in my tomb
I do not belong here

I roam alone in the dark of night
Before the dew touches the blackened trees
The moon is my compass
The stars are holes in my dark dreams
I relish the darkness

On full mooned nights you may see
A dark scepter walking where he is home
In the graveyard where all have past
All but me in my purgatory.
