Puerility

Puerility

A Poem by Jessica Dallaire

"
Tears get brushed away
As soon as they appear
Two hearts beat together
But one verging on fear.

That one heart is longing
Needing her embrace.
The other heart, absorbed
In another's common grace.

Tears that know their folly
Rushing to the ground.
Leaping from their precipice
And landing with no sound.

Faith can be a weakness and fear a strength in this crazy world... A profound piece of writing. Nice return to the writing world.
