![]() LullabyA Poem by Jessica Dallaire![]() Tyler poem. Written January 8, 2009. (( O.o Whoa. Seriously? My first 2009 poem? Wow. Lame. ))![]() Waves crashing on the shore? None of that, not any more. Wind whispering in my ear? That's not the lullaby I'd like to hear.
A deep caress at it's worst In the morning, it's what I hear first. Loving words are what's best. That lullaby puts all chaos to rest.
The beating of a wooden drum? It doesn't sound like any fun. A soft, beautiful melody? It just doesn't do a thing for me
Loud and excited or quiet and small. It doesn't matter, I love it all. Even when he says silly words, His voice is the best lullaby I've ever heard. © 2009 Jessica DallaireAuthor's Note
