LullabyA Poem by Jessica DallaireTyler poem. Written January 8, 2009. (( O.o Whoa. Seriously? My first 2009 poem? Wow. Lame. ))Waves crashing on the shore? None of that, not any more. Wind whispering in my ear? That's not the lullaby I'd like to hear.
A deep caress at it's worst In the morning, it's what I hear first. Loving words are what's best. That lullaby puts all chaos to rest.
The beating of a wooden drum? It doesn't sound like any fun. A soft, beautiful melody? It just doesn't do a thing for me
Loud and excited or quiet and small. It doesn't matter, I love it all. Even when he says silly words, His voice is the best lullaby I've ever heard. © 2009 Jessica DallaireAuthor's Note
