I though that I was done crying

Until I broke your heart

I guess that I was lying

When I said we would never part

I told you that I wanted us always together

Again I was wrong

Nothing is forever

And we really don’t belong

I am a waste of time

All I caused you is pain

With you love was a meaningless rhyme

And yes I am ashamed

I tried to make us something more

But all I wanted from you was a friend

I did take you to my core

But it is something I now dread
