Imaginary

Imaginary

A Poem by Jessica Dallaire

"

At night, in my dreams

I see your face,

It’s haunting me.

And I wonder

Do you know that I am there?

Can it be

That you don’t really even see me for me.

~Chorus~

You just walk right through my imaginary figure,

And you don’t even notice

That I am there.

You walk right past what you don’t see.

My only wish is that you will realize me.

Am I that imaginary?

How can you not see

Something that is right before your eyes?

It’s plain as day that I am standing there,

But you never notice.

Just notice me.

Am I that imaginary?

Repeat chorus

Imaginary
