Crazy Dream

Crazy Dream

A Poem by Jessica Dallaire

What a wild imagination have I
I thought that he could help me fly
I thought he would pick me up from the ground
I suppose it was just a lie all around
Another stupid, childish game
That I fell for to rekindle my flame
I thought his words might have ran true
I thought I had found someone new
But in the end he is just the same
He just went by a different name
He's just another person to make me cry
Another heartache to make me die
I wish for a love that is honest and real
One where happiness is all we both feel
I'm sick of living in this imaginary place
But it makes all of my pain simply erase
In my mind I'm not hurting and dying
In my mind I'm not sitting her crying
In this head we are floating on a cloud
In my head I can't fall to the ground

I really like it! The rhyming doesn't seem forced at all.
