I look around the room

Hoping, even praying for something new

Something random to keep my mind off of you

But at this failed attempt

I am heartbroken lying on the floor

Crying these constant tears

Living my life in total fear

Of not having you there

Wishing that you could or would love me

Making up some stupid lie

And telling myself I am not going to cry again
