Prayer for Release

Prayer for Release

Goddess and God

Hear what I ask of thee

I ask for the strength

To set my heart free

No longer bound by he who uses

No longer will I forgive he who abuses

Darian is his name, my heart's attraction

I'd like his affect to become but a fraction

I'd like to let go of our past

I now see he's changed too much for us to last

What once was will never be again

So let me see him now as no more than a friend

And if you decide to bring me another

Let him be not like my last lover

Let him be gentle, quiet, stable and true

And let us love like I've always wanted to

I'd like him patient, open, honest and kind

I'd like him to have his own mind

I want someone who's right for me

With the good of all, sealed three times three

As I will it, so mote it be
