Androgen

Lost in conscious battle

The time old tale of good and evil

A war is raging in your midst

If only you just knew

Fighting between what's right

And loving all that is wrong

Peace is just a metaphor

When both sides want to seem strong

One side has to win

But both sides will lose

None will say they quit

When admitting defeat, both refuse

Lost in conscious battle

The time old tale of good and evil

A war is raging in your midst

If only you just knew

Longing for some distance

Praying for the end

Sleeves of bloodstained guilt

And hearts that will never mend

The Angels show no mercy

But the Demons offer exemption

Love is fickle in this war

No one receives redemption
