Written around January of 2008. I was daydreaming and felt the need to indulge in poetry. It's not really about anyone, just a fantasy of wanting to be alone with someone who loves me.

Lift me high above the clouds
Lift me up and let me soar
Don't take me back down
For I am afraid I would drown
In the past that engulfs me so
Give me a soft field of flowers
So I can lay down my head
When chaos again arises
Take me on a small boat
And drift me far out to sea
Let it be just you and me
Sailing along the horizon
