My Bedroom SlippersA Poem by jdTellamy bedroom slippers are the rightful keepers of the steps I take thinking around about the choices I make
I turn on the lights I sit on the couch and wait for the hour when the nocturne train comes to take me away
and the couch is a bench the living room a station and I know that I’m going where thoughts stay afloat in the floating nation
my bedroom sleepers are the rightful keepers of the steps I took dreaming around the Neverland of Captain Hook © 2016 jdTella |
