Night CallA Poem by jazmine curryAbout being only called on at night, being used and overcoming being treated that way moving on and upwards.
I've come to a conclusion, of the exclusion of what is just simply a illusion.
Confused? I'm amused. The illusion of being cherished has just vanished. I don't need your clarification I just need your evacuation. I won't beg for you to stay and play, I know you've got better cards to play. I won't mention the absence of your attention. My interest is on suspension. I notice the texts late at night, we are not having sex tonight. I see a glimpse during the light, you must be a fright, you only come crawling at night. But too late I've already turned out the light. These games have become old, i'm sure you think it's gold. You're not the one for me, I am the one for me. And I'm free. © 2017 jazmine curryAuthor's Note
