ThicketA Poem by Jennifer LenhardtPrayer
there is a delightful way out
of every thicket one finds themselves in brambles growing round quickly turning this way that way which way, out? surrounded pressing thorns flesh leaving marks caught grabbing shirt pants but did you ever watch the rabbit? who runs through the thicket with ease with ease? darting hopping this way that way pausing ears nose twitching stopping at the berries nibbling nibbling delighted happy hiding preening sleepy little carefree bunny who will show you that the way out so often is only seen when on one's knees © 2010 Jennifer LenhardtFeatured Review
