Pudgy Little Fat RollA Poem by Jennifer LenhardtPrompt from November/Write a Poem a Day: http://bit.ly/cHvvGJ
I’ve had this pudgy little fat roll since childhood
and part of me has grown to love it, this little doughnut, just a little something, I suppose, that’s more to love Where it sits just below the navel and just above the hips, and if I were a belly dancer they’d say, “your da bomb!” I mean, have you ever seen a skinny little toothpick of a belly dancer? No, she’s got be a woman who’s got lots a curves Who wears tiny little symbols on her fingers, and who knows how to throw her hips into a hula hoop swerve I’ve had this pudgy little fat roll since childhood and I suppose I’d miss it if it were gone © 2010 Jennifer LenhardtReviews
