First love

First love

A Poem by Joshua J. Certain

Sterling silver lips

My first kiss

Oh how I wish

I could go back on this

Tranquilizing eyes

Had me hypnotized

Oh how our lifes were entwined

Perfect little grins

I never knew the trouble I was in

Falling around a perfect world

The hearts in my eyes unfurled

Outside of it nothing did exist

Blinded by a heart made of enchanting mist

So cruel was the fate at hand

A punch in the stomach didn't fit in my plans

Now spinning ground is the surface I stand

Gazing into night stars

Wondering the mystery of who you are

If you can hear my words

I have you heard my whispers of

I love you

As they fade away

into something so beutiful

led astray

An almost delivered piece that soaks in emotion like a sponge does water, well done

About
In a dark place I awoke. I believe it was around the age of twelve. I picked up a pen and wrote a poem tilted "Broken light". That was years ago and that poem is long gone. I started a whole mess of.. more..
