The Fall

The Fall

A Poem by JC

Can you feel it?

Can you feel

The wind as it rushes by,

As it slaps me, drags me

While it hurtles toward my face?

Can you hear it?

Can your hear it

As it whistles, sings and screams?

Can you hear the deafening

The numbing

The terrifying

Roar?

Can you hear

The thunderstorm

As I burst right through the clouds?

I see light, then dark,

Then light again,

As I hurtle down

Plummet down

Dive straight down through the sky.

I see white cloud

Black cloud

Mottled cloud of rain

As the hollow draws me to the ground,

The sick void pulls me from within.

Can you see it?

Can you see the end

As it comes ever closer?

Faster, faster,

Insane locomotive closure,

Speeding towards the Master.
