LAVENDER DREAMING
when we dream in lavender
the world has a gossamer feel
all things seem to shimmer and twinkle wink about our bower

when we dream in lavender
dragons stop by for a visit
while fairies serve honey cakes and sweet lilac tea

when we dream in lavender
unicorns dance in buttercup fields
while elf lords and ladies ride in flower petal carriages

when we dream in lavender
all the universes unfold golden amber warm
and all we imagine can be reality for everyone to share
when we dream in lavender

Very nicely written. Certain colours do invoke unimaginable beauty. I can't picture you writing this of black and red for example. It has an almost sepia tinted glow, except in lavender of course, of the beauty that is both surrounding us, and within our dreams.The second verse is particularly lovely...
