A DAY SEEKING ANGELS

A DAY SEEKING ANGELS

A Poem by jeannemarie coulter
"

an opportunistic infection nailed me but i am up and about today so i am seeking my angels to thank them for the help...

"

A DAY SEEKING ANGELS
in the pale silver rose light of dawn
riding my chestnut mare
wandering through fields of flowers
listening to the song of the morning dove
trilling with the meadow lark
i find a puffball circle
and know fairies played in this pasture
during the night
the land is blessed warm with songs of everlasting love
and i almost hear the giggle of pixies
as i cross the chuckling brook
this is a day to spend seeking angels
and as i turn home in the amber gold honey light of evening
i see an angel beckoning
a silhouette in front of the setting sun
answering my wish for peace in my world...

i bet out there where you live, you must see many angels in the "gold honey light of evening"

sounds like such a peaceful world there....much like Vermont was for me back in the 50's....
