in the sapphire shimmer blue between our universe and theirs, dolphins dance the ancient moves, rhythms that enhance the abundance, the driving force that pushes their seed to flower, a wraith design drifting across all the water worlds of space seeking the perfect cove, a peaceful reef where coral blooms and kelp forms shadows for their young to play hide and seek and peek a boo with seahorses, a peaceful bay of turquoise to amethyst glimmering with the echoing song of their ancestors as a lullaby for dolphin dreams...
jeannemarie, Such beautiful imagery that captures the essence of the life form, the quiet flamboyance of the playful sea dweller. When I was in the Navy, aboard a guided missile destroyer, whenever we were approaching, and got near enough to shore, you could go to the stern of the ship and see dolphins (or porpoises?) leaping out of the water, crossing diagonally across the ship's wake. I took many pictures (that unfortunately didn't survive the transition imposed by my divorce from my first wife.) and often just stood there in early twilight watching them and dreaming, perhaps dolphin dreams? Thank you so much for bringing those pictures back into my mind's focus. A beautifully written piece. take care...dan

i love to share the worlds within my mind...thank you
I love the colorful story line that you painted as you told your tale. Beautiful shades that just cause my eyes to want to sleep restfully underneath a tawny palm on a white sandy beach at twi-light.
such wonderful imagery you weave throughout your work, Jeannemarie...and as always, you select a wonderful image to accompany your poem and provide us with matching font colors... well-done!
