FLOW LINES IN SPACE FRAMES

FLOW LINES IN SPACE FRAMES

A Poem by jeannemarie coulter

FLOW LINES IN SPACE FRAMES
wandering in a gallery
overlooking the north shore of tahoe,
sipping the ambrosia
of other artists,
i hear the paintings
whispering back and forth,

i listen...

considering,
contemplating
the dialogue
between the pieces,
a connecting flow,
an infinite debate
between space frames,
eternal conversations
of color and light,

suddenly...

a cacophony of sound,
an explosion of color
line and light,
i follow the ethereal voice,
the screaming whisper,
i am caught,
my soul entrapped...
enraptured i ride
flash flooding horses,
fashioned from endless lines,
singing of movement,
completely alive
in the space frame
of
guillaume azoulay...

jeannemarie, I admit I had to look up guillaume azoulay to see that it was the name of a painter of fine art. This piece is so resplendent with stark imagery: paintings communicating with each other, "eternal conversations of color and light..." I went to Bing Images and viewed some of the artists work, and while I am no expert on fine art his works are indeed very eloquent...they may have spoken to me but I am not familiar with that type of language. Your writing language, however is familiar and understandable. And done extremely well. take care...dan

so much inspiration in what we see around us and in the words you paint to accompany such a wonderful piece of art...i wonder what drew you to this piece? :D....beautiful poetry, my friend....oh, maybe it was the horses :D

My daughter will be enraptured with this painting also. Love the way you personified the art pieces, because good art does speak to you. Some whisper in soft tones while others speak in normal tones that never turn a head, and still others are in party mode, and set your heart to dancing.

The horse woman in fanciful flight? This is way past Mr. Ed.

i think the same is here for me at WC...

a gallery of poets...i read the voices, they whisper in my head, and suddenly i am caught in an explosion of ideas, and the words start to paint themselves.
