IN MEASURED LIGHT

IN MEASURED LIGHT

A Poem by jeannemarie coulter

IN MEASURED LIGHT

on a stretch of beach in measured primordial light
a statuesque goddess hesitates while passing,
she sips the honeycomb of your bees
and sups on the orange-almond ambrosia
of your amaretto burnished flip-side breezes

and

passing pleased she caresses
your peach velvet flesh
with molten amber passion
to bring forth infinite intricate forms
in glowing luminescent dew-drop worlds
translucent with love life explosions...

your quite welcome
Beautiful. Your words slip through like a waterfall, crashing down the front of my computer screen.

this made me want to have an amaretto stone sour...
makes everything look more colorful.
