I often hear redheads described using the word 'fiery.' My first wife was a redhead and she could be called fiery as well as other less flattering words, but 'fiery' definitely fit best. There are several ethnic references to redheads that I will not mention for fear of being misunderstood and accused of using slurs. Your final line I believe says it best: a class all their own. take care...dan
I agree.
"i am a red headed woman
and we live in a class all our own... "
I have met some dangerous red hair beauties in my time. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

My mother's advice to my younger brother when he fell in love with a redhead was, and I quote: "be careful my son, she's a redhead!" Fortunately he did not heed her ominous and ambiguous warning because they now have two beautiful kids and are quite happy :D
Love the words and the picture, Jeannemarie... I think lots of people with many different hair colours can be dangerous... but like Jacob, I like red and I like to play with fire, sometimes lol...
